Crawford: Jason Hatcher Like a Big Brother

Hatcher joined the Redskins in free agency in the offseason

Tyrone Crawford says Jason Hatcher was a major influence on him in the two seasons they spent as teammates in Dallas.

Just how big of an influence?

"Big enough I call him big brother," Crawford said, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. "Just the way he played, the way he came out to practice, everything he told me inside and outside about the NFL, he just helped me out a lot. The way he treated us young guys, he didn't come in and wasn't like cocky at all. He was just great to us."

The Cowboys let Hatcher walk in free agency in the offseason, and he joined the rival Washington Redskins. Replacing Hatcher is little brother Crawford, who has 15 tackles, including one for a loss on the season. He’s still looking for his first sack.
