Cowboys Waive Rob Callaway

Dallas reportedly waived Callaway from the injured reserve on Thursday

The Dallas Cowboys cut ties with defensive tackle Rob Callaway on Thursday, waiving him from the injured reserve.

Callaway, an undrafted 25-year-old out of Saginaw Valley State University, came into the league back in 2010 with the Lions. He spent 2011 and much of 2012 on the Cowboys’ practice squad before being promoted to the active roster for a couple games. But he never did record a tackle.

Callaway was placed on injured reserved last month after, reportedly, undergoing microfracture knee surgery.
