Cowboys Tweet “Birthday Wish” To Michael Vick

The Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback turned 32 on Tuesday

In an interview last week, Cowboys’ nose tackle Jay Ratliff talked about how he and the Cowboys don’t plan on doing much talking this year. He said that the plan in 2012 was to shut up and play, and not focus on outside expectations or what other teams are doing. Apparently, this message of quiet diligence didn’t reach whoever runs the team’s official Twitter account.

See, Tuesday marked Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Michael Vick’s 32nd birthday. In honor of the occasion, the Cowboys’ Twitter account (@dallascowboys) sent Vick a short message, sic: "Happy Birthday Michael Vick from #CowboysNation we can't wait til November, can you?!?"

The message then links to a photo of DeMarcus Ware sacking Vick--not out-and-out antagonistic so much, but as far as potential bulletin board material in June goes, this is about as good as you’ll find.

The message itself, of course, is referring to the teams’ November 11 meeting, the first of the year. The season series will wrap up just a few weeks after that, on December 2, in Arlington.

You can see the full message with the attached, er, birthday card here.
