Cowboys Trail Eagles 17-10 at Half

The winner of this game will move on to the playoffs as the NFC East champion

After 30 minutes, the Dallas Cowboys trail the visiting Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium, 17-10, with the NFC East crown on the line.

The Eagles jumped out to a 10-0 lead early with a 47-yard field goal by Alex Henery and, then, a three-yard touchdown reception by running back LeSean McCoy. The pass capped an 88-yard drive.

Dallas answered with a six-play, 66-yard drive, capped by an impressive touchdown pass from tonight’s starter, Kyle Orton, to rookie tight end Gavin Escobar to make it 10-7.

Following an interception by Orton, which bounced off Jason Witten’s hands and into those of Mychal Kendricks, the Eagles found paydirt again. This time, it came on a touchdown pass from Nick Foles to tight end Brent Celek.

Dan Bailey hit a 44-yard field goal with less than a minute left in the half to pull the Cowboys within a score again at 17-10, and that’s where we stand at half.
