Cowboys Trail Broncos 28-20 at Half

Dallas will kick off to Denver to open the second half

After a promising start for the Cowboys, that high powered Broncos' offense reared its ugly head and ended the first half on a 28-6 run, giving the visitors a 28-20 lead at half.

Tony Romo started out 5-5 passing, that last of those coming on a three-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant to cap the team’s first drive and give the home team a 7-0 lead.

After an Eric Decker fumble on the Broncos’ first drive, they drove 45 yards and returned to the end zone with a four-yard DeMarco Murray touchdown run. Just like that, it was 14-0 Dallas.

Then the tide turned.

Peyton Manning threw for three touchdown passes (two to to Julius Thomas and one to Eric Decker) and ran another one in in the Broncos’ final four possessions. Dallas actually bookended the scoring in the second quarter with a pair of Dan Bailey field goals (of 43 and 48 yards, respectively), but it's not really looking like field goals are going to cut it if they want to hand Manning and co. their first loss..

To make matters more worrisome for Cowboys fans, Dallas will kick off to Denver to open the second half.
