Cowboys Sign FB Jed Collins

Collins has been in the league since 2008

We don’t know who the Dallas Cowboys’ starting running back will be next year, but we do know who’ll be blocking for him.

The team signed veteran fullback Jed Collins to a one-year deal on Thursday.

Collins has been in the league since 2008 but has only been active since 2011. He has three rushing touchdowns and four receiving touchdowns on 58 career touches.

A 29-year-old Washington State product, Collins entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Eagles in 2008. He spent last season with the Detroit Lions.

The Cowboys’ last fullback, Tyler Clutts, is a free agent.
