Cowboys Sign Collins, All Rookies Now Under Contract

3rd rounder Maliek Collins is now officially a Cowboy

It took a bit longer than most years, but the Dallas Cowboys 2016 draft class is now fully under contract.

Defensive tackle Maliek Collins signed his contract, the last Cowboys rookie to do so.

The Nebraska product may not be ready for training camp after suffering a foot injury during the Cowboys' organized team activities. Collins had foot surgery in early June to repair a broken bone.

If healthy, the Cowboys believe Collins has a chance to crack the defensive tackle rotation. The team is thin on the defensive line with Randy Gregory and DeMarcus Lawrence both serving four-game suspensions for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
