Cowboys Return Home from Oxnard

The Dallas Cowboys are finally back home.

They practiced at their Valley Ranch facility Monday after a month in training camp on the West Coast.

Coach Jason Garrett says players have to make the adjustment to getting back to "real life" after the time in camp when their only focus was football. They also have to get used to the warmer temperatures.

The forecast highs in North Texas this week are in the mid- to upper-90s, about 25 to 30 degrees warmer than in Oxnard, Calif., where the team had camp. The Cowboys have morning practices through Wednesday, avoiding the hottest part of the day, then work out Thursday night at their stadium.

Dallas plays the fourth of its five exhibition games Saturday night at home against Cincinnati.
