Cowboys Packing Extra Gear for Green Bay Cold

It's going to be cold on Sunday in Green Bay. This isn't breaking news, by any means.

But the longer the week has gone on, it appears the Cowboys will get lucky and miss an Ice Bowl-type game at Lambeau Field. In fact, forecasts are now calling for a high of 21 degrees, which really isn't that much colder than it was in DFW on Thursday when the Cowboys practiced outside at Valley Ranch.

No matter what happens, though, the Cowboys will be ready. That's because the team is expected to take around a ton of extra equipment on the trip to have the players ready for any type of conditions, according to The Dallas Morning News.

"We're just going to take everything and figure it out as we go," the team's equipment manager Bucky Buchanan said.
