Cowboys Looking At Punters, Yet Again

Both of the punters on the Cowboys' roster are dealing with injuries at the moment

The Dallas Cowboys currently have two punters on the roster, which is pretty rare in the NFL, but they might soon have three.

Chris Jones entered the season as the team’s (only) punter, but suffered a knee injury a couple weeks ago, which prompted the team to go out ad sign former Buffalo Bill Brian Moorman. Moorman was one of the few Cowboys who played well in the loss to the Bears, but on Wednesday, he suffered a groin injury.

Now, with Jones and Moorman questionable for the week six matchup with the Ravens in Baltimore, the Cowboys are looking at three potential stopgap solutions at the position.

Former Eagle Chas Henry, former Jet T.J. Conley and former Steeler (and Highland Park High School grad) Daniel Sepulveda were all at Valley Ranch on Thursday to audition for the job.

As of early Friday afternoon, however, the Cowboys hadn’t brought a third punter into the fold. We’ll keep you updated if this changes.
