Cowboys Not Surprised By Hall's Comments

We weren’t really surprised when the Redskins’ DeAngelo Hall said he’d aim for Tony Romo’s injured ribs if he gets a chance on Monday night, and, apparently, neither were Romo’s teammates. Judging by the Cowboys’ response to Hall, the idea of an opponent looking to take advantage of an opponents’ injury is pretty predictable, if not just expected.

It’s just that not everyone comes out and says it, as Hall did this week.

"I know DeAngelo,” said offensive lineman Derrick Dockery, per ESPN Dallas. “It doesn't [surprise me]. It's football and you cannot say it, but you got to know what he's going to do."

Linebacker Bradie James sounded even less surprised than did Dockery, who knows Hall from his days with the Redskins. James, like most of the rest of the Cowboys’ locker room, essentially met the question with a shrug of the shoulders.

"Hey man, that's part of the game," he said. "I'm sure they're coming for something on my body."
