Cowboys “Mindful” Of Tashard Choice's Knowledge Of Offense

Choice was signed by Washington two weeks ago

In the Cowboys and Redskins first match-up of the season, Cowboys’ center Phil Costa accused the Redskins of illegally mimicking Tony Romo’s cadence. How and if they actually did this is a matter of who you ask--Costa accused Cowboy-turned-Redskin Stephen Bowen of giving Washington the info, while Bowen denied the whole thing--but whatever it was messing with Costa’s head that day, it resulted in a dizzying number of early snaps.

Now, two days away from the teams’ second and final meeting of the season, Dallas has another defector to be mindful of, in Tashard Choice--who was cut by Dallas and claimed off waivers by Washington two weeks ago. Oh, and head coach Jason Garrett plans on being mindful of this.

“You always have to be mindful of that when you have a player that goes from your team to another team,” Garrett said, per MySanAntonio.com. “Tashard’s certainly a smart guy. We like to think that we do a good job disguising some of our calls. I don’t think we undo our offense just because of that transaction. I think we have to deal with it. It certainly is something we have to look at throughout the ball game.”
