Cowboys Make Roster Changes

The Cowboys made some moves to get their roster to the league required 75 players on Tuesday.

TrueBlueFanClub.com reported the team released rookie wide receiver Julian Hawkins and placed rookie linebacker Brandon Williams on injured reserve after tearing up his knee.

Rookie offensive lineman Robert Brewster was placed on the reserve physically unable to perform list after suffering a torn pectoral muscle. Brewster suffered the injury before training camp.

The Cowboys signed rookie cornerback Jeremy Haynes and claimed rookie cornerback DeAngelo Willingham off waivers from Tampa Bay. Willingham signed with Tampa Bay out of Tennessee and was released after the Buccaneers' third preseason game. Haynes joined the Tennessee Titans out of McNeese State but was released after playing in the first preseason game.

The final roster cuts from 75 to 53 players take place on Saturday.
