Cowboys Looking Terrible, Trailing Redskins 28-3 At Half

Dallas has been picked apart by the Redskins over the first 30 minutes

Well it’s hard to imagine that this can get any uglier, but we would never doubt the Cowboys’ ability to make it so. Dallas is getting drubbed 28-3 at halftime at Cowboys Stadium.

After kicking off to the Redskins, the Cowboys defense forced a three and out. Following that, Dallas drove to the Washington 12, where Dan Bailey made a 30-yard field goal to give Dallas an early 3-0 lead. Unfortunately, that’s about where the good news ends, for Cowboys fans.

Washington rattled off four unanswered touchdowns in the second quarter, three of them on passes from Robert Griffin III (Aldrick Robinson, Pierre Garcon and Santana Moss were the receivers on those scores). The other came on a one-yard run from Alfred Morris, who finished the first half with 63 yards on 12 carries.

Yep. It’s been as bad as it sounds.

Again, Dallas is down 28-3 at half, and looking absolutely hopeless.

On the bright side: Kenny Chesney is about to sing some songs!
