Cowboys Getting Little Love In Pro Bowl Voting

Linebacker DeMarcus Ware is the only Cowboys leading his position in voting thus far.

DeMarcus Ware is currently leading in the Pro Bowl voting for outside linebackers, which sets him apart from the rest of his Dallas Cowboys temmates, who aren’t faring so well in the Pro Bowl voting thus far.

Ware currently has 36 tackles, two forced fumbles and 13 sacks on the year. Aside from Ware, though, only three Cowboys are in the top five of their respective positions in the voting.

Tight end Jason Witten, who recently passed Ozzie Newsome for third on the all-time list of receptions for a tight end, sits in fourth in the voting, behind Jimmy Graham of the Saints, Jermichael Finley of the Packers and Tony Gonzalez of the Falcons. Mat McBriar currently ranks fourth among punters and rookie Dan Bailey is third among NFC kickers.

The teams will be announced on December 27, following the players’ and coaches’ vote. Fans can vote on the Pro Bowl here.
