Cowboys Fan LeBron James: “We Got A Chance”

James was in Dallas on Thursday to torment the Dirk-less Mavericks

Miami Heat forward LeBron James is a well known fan of the Dallas Cowboys. So on Thursday night, fresh off beating the tar out of the Mavericks in Dallas, James was asked about his favorite team’s playoff chances.

“We got a chance,” James said, per the Dallas Morning News. “That’s all you can ask for at this point. They got a tough game with Drew Brees coming in and that offense. They win that game and they end with Washington, but they got to take care of this Sunday first.”

James, who was (unsurprisingly) a standout wide receiver in high school, had particularly high praise for Dez Bryant.

“He’s playing good football,” James said. “He’s having a career-year, a career-year in catches and touchdowns. His finger can hurt him a little bit but the fact that he’s out there and trying to make a push to make the playoffs is a big credit to him.”
