Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick is expected to have the night off during the Cowboys third preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks Thursday night.
Scandrick is dealing with a sore groin.
From all accounts, it does not appear to be serious, but the Cowboys are resting him just as a precaution.
Scandrick tore his ACL and MCL at training camp last year and he missed all of the 2015 season.
The 29-year-old says he expects to be ready for the season opener September 11 against the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium.
