Cowboys Close to Signing DL Landon Cohen

Cohen last played a down in the NFL back in 2011 as a member of the Eagles

In search of depth along the defensive line, the Dallas Cowboys will sign Landon Cohen on Wednesday pending a physical, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Reserve lineman Tyron Crawford was lost for the season after suffering a torn Achilles on Sunday, and starting defensive tackle Jay Ratliff is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list with a strained hamstring, and may not come off for some time.

Cohen last played a down in the NFL back in 2011, as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted by the Lions in the seventh round back in 2008, and has made a total of six stops in his career: Detroit, Jacksonville, New England, Seattle, New England again, and Arizona.

Cohen is the second defensive lineman to be signed by Dallas on Wednesday, the other being George Selvie.
