Cowboys Ahead of Philly at Half, 3-0

Kicker Dan Bailey provided the only scoring of the first half in Philadelphia

After thirty minutes in which neither offense could really get going, the Dallas Cowboys are leading the Philadelphia Eagles 3-0.

Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey provided the only scoring of the first half, with a 38-yard field goal late in the second quarter. That gave Dallas the 3-0 lead, and that was it as far as scoring.

Tony Romo is 11 of 22 passing for 137 yards and, obviously, no touchdowns. He was intercepted once in the end zone, on a Hail Mary, as time ran out on the half.

In the absence of DeMarco Murray, who was held out with that sprained left knee, rookie Joseph Randle has 34 yards on ten carries. Phillip Tanner has a carry as well but no yards to show for it, although he did catch a seven-yard pass.

Terrance Williams is the Cowboys leading receiver on the day thus far with 50 yards on three catches. Riley Cooper is leading the way for Philly in terms of receiving, with 25 yards on three catches.

The Dallas defense is without defensive end DeMarcus Ware, who was held out with a quad injury, but the pass rush has looked healthy so far. Both George Selvie and Jason Hatcher have a sack a piece, and linebacker Bruce Carter provided a quarterback hit.
