Cowboys Add Pair of O-Linemen

Dallas signed UTEP's James Nelson and TCU's Jeff Olson on Thursday

With their offensive line dealing with a string of nagging injuries, the Dallas Cowboys signed two big men, a guard and a tackle, on Thursday.

Per the folks at ESPN Dallas
, TCU guard Jeff Olson and UTEP tackle James Nelson were the lucky winners of the roster spot sweepstakes. To clear room for the pair, Dallas cut defensive end Cameron Sheffield--who has been dealing with a groin injury of late--and cornerback Devin Smith.

Olson, a McKinney, TX native, was in camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers until Monday, when he was waived.

Nelson stood out to scouts at UTEP’s Pro Day for, among other things, his ridiculous arm length of 36.5 inches.
