An Injury to Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh apparently forced the team to cut RB Chauncey Washington.

The Dallas Cowboys waived back up running back Chauncey Washington on Monday.

The team activated Washington for the Denver game after Felix Jones went down with a knee injury. Washington make one tackle on special teams, but never played a down on offense.

The Cowboys blog,TrueBlueFanClub reported the team cut Washington to make room on the roster for a safety after the injury to starter Gerald Sensabaugh. The team could re-sign Marvin White, who they released to make room for Washington on Saturday.
