Charles Haley Hoping 5th Time's a Charm For HoF

Haley is the only player in history to be a part of five Super Bowl winners

Charles Haley, a man who probably should have been in the Hall of Fame a long time ago, is a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame once again.

Haley has now been a finalist five times--one for every Super Bowl Champion team he was on. He’s the only guy to have ever played on that many Super Bowl Champion teams, and he was pretty instrumental on all five of them. So yeah, voters, let’s get this guy to Canton.

Over his 13 career--six seasons in San Francisco, five in Dallas, then two more in San Francisco--Haley recorded 485 tackles and 100.5 sacks. He got the Pro Bowl nod five times, and was named All-Pro twice.

Haley is the only person with ties to the Cowboys in this year's field of candidates.
