If you're looking for a motivational speaker, you won't find many as diverse as Chad Hennings. After all, there's not a lot of people who can claim this:
"You know how many guys can actually say that you flew a mission in a combat area in Northern Iraq and in that same year played in a Super Bowl? I mean, I can hardly comprehend that," said Hennings.
It's those life experiences that make Hennings a dynamic public speaker.
He flew 45 successful combat missions in the Air Force before winning three Super Bowls with the Cowboys. Add to the fact he's an entrepreneur in real estate and you have the recipe for a great storyteller.
"That's where from my diverse background of having experiences of being in the military flying jets, playing for a professional football team; Super Bowl caliber football teams with the Dallas Cowboys, and then also being involved with different aspects of business, many different vertices of business, I can talk to a variety of audiences and be able to establish that connectivity with them. Like, not only instant credibility but be able to talk the talk," said Hennings.
Hennings started in the real estate game six years ago and recently started a new, successful company called Rubicon. Walking through the office, you can't help but notice the many jerseys hanging on the wall. Hennings makes a point to hire college athletes — like former Texas A&M wide receiver Ryan Swope.
"We wanted to establish a culture where it's a team concept. So we purposes duly recruit former athletes, college athletes and military individuals because they work well together in the confines of a team. They're aggressive, but they can play well with others, " He said.
