Carr Misses Another Practice, Vows to Play Sunday

Brandon Carr has missed two days with an unspecified illness

Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr has missed the past two practices as he deals with an illness, but he vowed Friday that he wouldn’t miss Sunday’s match-up with the Redskins in Washington.

"I'll be fine by Sunday," Carr said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "This isn't going to keep me out."

Carr, who has been running a fever, reportedly watched practice on Friday and has been focusing on getting hydrated and rested.

The starting cornerback on the other side, Morris Claiborne, has ruled himself out of Sunday’s game but hopes to return next week for the season finale against the Eagles at AT&T Stadium.
