Carr Already Sick of Being Asked About Beckham Catch

Brandon Carr was on the wrong end of one of the great offensive plays of the season on Sunday night

It didn’t take long for Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr to grow sick of being asked about the spectacular catch made by rookie Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in the second quarter.

Carr was in coverage on Beckham and was actually called for pass interference when Beckham made a sensational one-handed grab.

It was a good catch,” Carr said after the 31-28 Cowboys victory, per the Dallas Morning News. “I’m not going to keep talking about one play.”

Carr later told an announcer that he had been asked about the catch “like ten times”--but it wasn’t as though Beckham’s impact was limited to that one outstanding moment.

“I thought Odell tonight was one of the finest players I’ve seen in the NFL,” said Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones. “The way he was making plays and making them at critical junctures ... and those were third-down catches for long yardage. He’s an outstanding player and I don’t look forward to playing him for a lot of years around here.”
