Bradie James: Matt Moore “Used To Light Us Up”

Moore spent training camp with Dallas in 2007

As we pointed out in a post yesterday, the Miami Dolphins--like the Cowboys--are riding a three-game win streak into the Thanksgiving Day game. Also like the Cowboys, the Dolphins have been winning with spectacular performances by their respective quarterbacks, Tony Romo and Matt Moore.

Specifically, over the span of the Cowboys’ streak, Tony Romo has thrown eight touchdown passes and no interceptions; over the span of the Dolphins’ streak, Matt Moore, who spent training camp in 2007 as a member of the Cowboys, has thrown six touchdowns and one interception.

Dallas waived Moore following that training camp, with designs on signing him to the practice squad, but he was picked up by Carolina, where he spent three seasons, instead. But according to linebacker Bradie James,  the Miami quarterback didn't need much time to make a lasting impression on the veteran.

"I'll never forget when he was on scout team," James said, per the Dallas Morning News. "He used to light us up. Now he's getting his confidence and he's definitely a formidable opponent."
