Starting running back Marion Barber has been limited in practice this week with a strained calf, and his status for Sunday’s game against Indianapolis is questionable.
Barber suffered the injury in the second half of Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day loss to the New Orleans Saints, giving way to backup Tashard Choice. Choice scored his first touchdown of the season on Thursday, after Barber came out with the calf injury.
"We'll see how he'll he responds as we go," said interim head coach Jason Garrett, per ESPN Dallas.
Aside from Barber, both starting inside linebackers, Keith Brooking and Bradie James, missed practice on Monday. Brooking is dealing with a strained left foot suffered on Thursday, James a sprained knee ligament suffered a few weeks ago.
