Austin Feels “Fine” After Testing Banged-Up Hip

Miles Austin had a pair of catches and a touchdown in the win over the Eagles on Sunday night

Miles Austin is feeling alright after testing his injured hip in Sunday night’s 38-33 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Austin, who is not stranger to nagging injuries, suffered the hip problem in the Thanksgiving Day loss to the Washington Redskins. Against Philly, he had a pair of catches for 46 yards and a touchdown--not monster numbers, but a crucial contribution to the Dallas effort.

It’s still a little sore,” Austin said, per ESPN Dallas, “but from how it did feel to how it felt Wednesday after a bunch of treatment and anti-inflammatories it felt leaps and bounds better than it did at the time.”

Austin may be held back this week in practice, as he continues to recover from the issues with the hip.

“How I feel now to how I feel tomorrow or Tuesday or Wednesday, I wouldn’t know,” he said. “But I feel fine.”
