Anthony Hitchens Has a Big Day

Hitchens led the team with seven tackles in Sunday's win over the Colts

Cowboys rookie linebacker Anthony Hitchens had something of a coming out party in the team’s division-clinching 42-7 victory over the Colts at AT&T Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Hitchens finished with a team-leading seven tackles, a pair of passes defensed and an interception.

I think guys did a good job setting the edge, and I just made the routine tackles and when I had a chance to make a play I intercepted the ball,” Hitchens said.

Hitchens, an Iowa product, now has 74 tackles on the year while playing in all three linebacker positions.

“I haven’t seen the tape,” defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli said after the win. “But I thought it was pretty good.”
