A little less than six months after being released by the Dallas Cowboys, safety/receiver/return man Akwasi Owusu-Ansah is a Cowboy once again.
Dallas claimed Owusu-Ansah off waivers on Tuesday, after the 24-year-old was released by the Jaguars. AKA as he’s often called started two games for the Jags last season after being picked up by the team in December, following his release from the Cowboys.
In his season and a half with Dallas, Owusu-Ansah appeared in ten games and recorded three tackles while being featured mostly on special teams. He was originally selected by the team in the fourth round of the 2010 draft out of Indiana University (Pa.).
