With "the big game" just a few days away, people are everywhere are clamoring for the latest "expert prediction" to help formulate their own.
If you were listening to The Musers on KTCK-1310 The Ticket this morning while on your way to UIL realignment in North Richland Hills, like I was, you know how former Cowboys quarterback and legendary Hall of Famer Troy Aikman is leaning.
Aikman praised the New England Patriots, quarterback Tom Brady, their improved defense and of course head coach Bill Belichick, but he wasn't exactly feeling the Patriots to take Sunday's game.
The New York Giants have apparently stolen Aikman's heart and now all the Giants fans who hate Aikman for being "pro-Cowboys" can shut up, because he was all over the Giants this morning on the radio.
Aikman professed his love for Giants coach Tom Coughlin and said when you stack up the Giants and Patriots they're basically even. The Giants are comparable on offense, are comparable on defense, but when you take a look at the quarterback play, Aikman's thoughts might surprise. But they probably shouldn't.
Brady is going for his fourth championship and is undoubtedly one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever take a snap in the NFL, but Eli Manning has emerged this season as one of the greats, himself. And Aikman said he thinks he'd rather have Eli than Brady right now, and that's the difference in the game.
Which way are you leaning?
