A Sign Of The Times: Dez Bryant Gets Own Emoji

Dez Bryant might increase his productivity this week. He’s already ramped up his popularity.

A new app from SportsManias has released an NFL-themed keyboard in which Bryant has his own emoji. Some of us remember when a sign that a player had “made it” was getting his own bobblehead.

The new emojis include J.J. Watt and his broken, bloodied nose, Peyton Manning with a helmet-imprinted forehead, Bill Belichick and his ominous hoodie, a partying Rob Gronkowski, Darrele Revis on his own island, and even commissioner Roger Goodell wearing a king’s crown.

And no, smart alecks, Bryant’s emoji doesn’t feature him in a shouting match with Greg Hardy. Instead, the Cowboys’ leading receiver is depicted with his trademark touchdown celebration – throwing up the “X.”

The sooner the Cowboys can see the real thing and not to have to rely on Dez’s celebratory emoji, the better.
