Sausage & Peppers

3 pounds sweet Italian sausage

6 red peppers

1 white onion

1 pint slice cremini mushrooms

2 cloves of peeled and chopped garlic

6 torn basil leaves

1 #10 can whole peeled tomatoes

1 bunch broccoli rabe cleaned and trimmed

For the sausage: Cut the sausage into desired size and brown in a sauce skillet. When browned, add the garlic, broccoli, onion, peppers, tomatoes and torn basil leaves. Simmer on low for a minimum of 45minutes.


Serve on sandwich rolls with aged provolone cheese and pepperoncini.
