Hey, Ty; MOVE THAT BUS.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition came to Keller to build a new home for a deserving family.

The Augustins of Keller are the lucky family to get the treatment, after they had to leave a flood-damaged house last year.

If that wasn't enough, the Augustins also support the March of Dimes and created a group called "Tiny Works of Heart" to take pictures of prematurely born babies at local hospitals without charge.

The foundation's photography studio was in the Augustin's garage -- which was flooded out on Father's Day of 2007 along with the rest of the house.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crews knocked on the family's doors Monday, December 8th. Demolition began on December 10th with a non-stop build from December 11-15th.

Viewers can see the episode featuring the Augustins in February/March of 2009.

UPDATE: Candy Evans of D Magazine's DallasDirt blog has video with the family and Wall Homes builders. Excellent stuff to look at! Click here to see it.

  • Amazed Wednesday, Dec 10 at 10:25 AM FLAG COMMENT What a great gift for a wonderful family, and the most wonderful time of the year to receive this gift!!! It is nice to see someone local get such a blessing. This family has such a moving story. They give of themselves so that others are blessed. It is only natural that they should be blessed as well. Provides proof that God will provide for your needs, especially to those who give and don't ask for anything in return. ... MORE >
