IN OUR BACKYARD: Catalog and online sales are great for Wisteria, which offers furniture, accessories, plus plenty of gifts and seasonal pieces. But ShopTalk tuned us in to the fact DFW has a Wisteria Outlet (2055 Luna Road, Carrollton, TX 75006) which is discounting their outlet prices by up to 70% off. The sale runs through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
VICE VERSO: Cause-related boutique Verso will host a grand opening tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Rising Gallery (4631 Insurance Lane). The major focus of the boutique is to sell exclusive designer duds and give a cut to charities. Tags for the pieces don't show you how much it costs, but also what charity work will be done with the purchase of that item.
WATCH IT: With the plethora of mobile devices (iPods, cell phones, etc.) it seems that the old familiar wrist watch has hit the skids as a time-keeping mechanism. We say, the re-watching begin! Try this good looking wristwatch that also doubles as a spy-like camcorder. You're not going to get HD out of this hands free option, but we can promise you'll feel like Bond.
