Let the countdown begin.

We’re just four days away from Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year. Starting bright and early and continuing well into the night, just about anywhere you’d want to pick up a gift will be featuring extended hours and/or great deals. 

To help you map out a plan of action, we’ve compiled the following handy-dandy list of hours, events, offers and more.  Ready, set, shop!

MALL WALKING:

Collin Creek Mall

Open at 6 a.m.  See Web site for info on individual store sales and offers.

Firewheel Town Center
Guest Services open at 5 a.m.  Individual store hours vary. 

Galleria Dallas

Open at 8 a.m.  Stick around for the Grand Tree Lighting at noon.

Highland Park Village
Caroling, cookies, Santa pics and more from 2-6 p.m.  Also hosting a toy drive benefitting the S.M. Wright Foundation and Children’s Medical Center.

Hulen Mall
Open at 6 a.m.

NorthPark Center
Open at 9 a.m.  Holiday parade featuring The Salvation Army Band and NBC’s Mike Snyder welcomes Santa to the Center, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Parks at Arlington
Open at 6 a.m.  See Web site for an extensive list of individual store sales and offers.

Stonebriar Center

Open at 6 a.m.  See Web site for info on individual store events and sales.

Town East Mall
Open at 1 a.m.

Valley View Center
Open at 9 a.m.  Sears and JCPenney open at 4 a.m..  For more information on hours and sales click here.

Vista Ridge Mall
Open at 6 a.m.

BIG STORES, BIG DEALS:

Best Buy

Open at 5 a.m.  See Web site to preview “doorbuster” specials.

Kohl’s
Open at 4 a.m.  Over 300 Early Bird Specials; see Web site for details.

Mattress Giant
Free Apple iPod touch with purchase of a Queen or King size Sealy PosturePedic mattress (through Sunday).

Old Navy
Many stores open early (or very early).  Call your nearest location for info.
