Peek Inside The Bushes' Preston Hollow Pad

Park Cities People newspaper made a heck of a find -- a sales brochure from April 2007 detailing 10141 Daria Place, the Bush's new home in Preston Hollow.
According to the brochure, the asking price for the home was near $4 million in 2007, though some sleuthing discovered the loan approved in October 2008 (presumably for the former first family's move-in) was only around $3 million.
Dallas Central Appraisal District now says the house is worth around $2 million -- quite a drop from the time the brochure was printed.
But the modest exterior -- familiar to lots of gawkers and everyone who's seen our previous coverage -- hides a hugely deceiving fact; the house itself has 8,051 square feet of space. Those are a lot of rooms to hang your hat in, Mr. President ...
