The Omni Fort Worth hotel is just about a week away from opening, but that hasn't stopped it from booking the big gigs -- way ahead of time.

When the AFC and NFC champs meet in Arlington's new Cowboys Stadium for the 2011 Super Bowl, they will be coming from different sides of the Metroplex -- that's because the AFC champs will be staying in the Omni Fort Worth during the bowl while the NFC team will be put up in the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Las Colinas.

Unfair Park thinks part of the reason the Omni Fort Worth was picked was cause the beds will be closer to brunch -- the "Taste of the NFL" event may be held in Fort Worth's Convention Center, which is right next to the Omni.
