As October draws to a close, we’re approaching last call for Texas Wine Month.  A celebration is definitely in order!

What better way to wrap up our four week tribute to Lone Star vino than a tour of eight North Texas wineries, complete with tastings, food samples, and a Halloween theme?

You can get all that and a bottle for later this Saturday at Grapevine’s Hallo-wine Trail event.

For $45 in advance or $50 at the door, enjoy three delicious tastings at each of eight local wineries (that’s a whopping 24 samples…but who’s counting?).  And the fun doesn’t end there.  Cocktail nibbles are also included, and you’ll take home a crystal glass and a bottle of premium wine for another time.  Or to enjoy while you’re passing out goodies to the kiddies that night!

Participating wineries include Cross Timbers, D’Vine Wine, Farinas, Homestead, La Bodega, La Buena Vida, Su Vino and the incomparable Inwood Estates.  The event takes place from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday and costumes are “encouraged”.
