COMING SOON:

DISH
4123 Cedar Springs, Suite 110, Dallas
214-522-DISH

DISH restaurant and lounge lights up the Ilume development on Cedar Springs November 10th.  Serving up “modern comfort food” with a buzz-y side order of  “local” and “seasonal” ingredients, DISH’s menu will feature items like BBQ Braised Short Ribs and Pepperoni and Fresh Mozzarella Flatbread.

Between meals, you can relax in style at DISH’s 360-degree bar.  Gaze out floor-to-ceiling glass walls while you enjoy happy hour specials seven days a week, or maybe a late-nite Strawberry Basil Margarita.  For a sneak peek at the dining room, check out the artist’s rendering above.  Pretty cool, huh?

In fact, this new luxury lifestyle complex is so cool, they’re filming a reality show inside the leasing office as we speak.  No kidding - it revolves around the life and times of Ilume staffers.  And you, too, if you happen to wander in while the cameras are rolling.

COMING (NOT SO) SOON:

If you’re like us, your mouths began to water at the mere sight of the banner on Oak Lawn Avenue announcing Eddie V’s Prime Seafood “Coming Soon” to Big D.  With outposts in Fort Worth, Austin and Scottsdale, this upscale spot serves sumptuous entrees like Crab Stuffed Colossal Shrimp and USDA Prime Ribeye in a “warm and inviting” atmosphere.  Stomach growling yet?

Well, we hate to filet your fish, but Eddie V’s isn’t exactly coming “soon”.  Corporate reps have informed us that the Dallas location isn’t expected to open until – yikes! – next summer.  In the meantime, you can visit Eddie V’s at 3100 W. 7th Street in Cowtown for the aforementioned delicacies and a whole lot more.

WEEKEND UPDATE:

Tomorrow marks the last day of Texas Wine Month (not to mention Halloween), and you can wrap up your celebration of Lone Star vino in spooky style at the Grapevine Hallo-wine Trail.  Click here to read all about it, and visit grapevinewinetrail.com to purchase advance tickets for $45 each.
