Food Network Star Paula Deen Hit By Ham

Paula Deen, Food Network's lady of the South, was hit in the face with a ham yesterday morning while volunteering in Atlanta. The "200 lb." beast, per Deen's own overestimation, was thrown by a poor fellow volunteer, who has most certainly not quite lived the moment down yet. Deen "didn't know it was bein' thrown," she can be heard saying. The ham toss occurred at a pre-planned photo op, fortunately, so video of the incident will now circulate online for the forseeable future. "It about knocked me coo coo," said Deen after she was whisked away to safety by her security detail, "but I'm fine." Exhale.
