A Taste of NYC at Cindi's

Serving up breakfast and cream-filled pastries all day, Cindi’s New York Deli has the taste of the Big Apple with a southern, hometown feel.

There are five Cindi's locations throughout the metroplex, with its newest location in downtown Dallas.

“Compared to a New York Deli, it's pretty close,” Dallas resident Lynn Fellhauer described the delicatessen. Offering a variety of cheeses and spreads whipped to perfection, this deli serves up more to guests than just fresh bagels and sandwiches.

Cindi’s menu offers something for every appetite: potato pancakes, knishes, cheese blintzes, stuffed cabbage, Matzo ball soup, and of course, New York reubens.

Owner Anh Tran stumbled upon the Jewish deli when the original owner had to close down the eatery several years ago. Tran, a Vietnam native, is living the American dream.

She came to the United States with her husband, newborn baby, and only pennies in her pocket. With an entrepreneurial heart, she learned how to speak English and cook along the way, to eventually owning one of the most talked about delicatessens in Dallas.

Chefs Jerry Jones and Louis Vachier are the masterminds behind Cindi’s, crafting the custom cakes and Jewish deli selections that have made Cindi’s a household name in Dallas for the last two decades.

Cindi’s New York Deli brings the taste of New York to the Big D with it's endless variety of breakfast foods and specialty pastries.
