Custom hats from the The House of MacGregor have received glittering reviews from W, Italian Vogue, and design star Marc Jacobs.
We caught up with Dallas-bred milliner, Cassie MacGregor, to find out who she's wowing this week and what she has in store for fall.
"I'm loving plaids, men's bow ties and pocket squares, and tons of plum and red tones," MacGregor said of what's new in her collection for this season. Her plumed, cocktail hat in reds and rusts is a stand out, as are the adorable fedoras she's doing in plaid-printed felt.
MacGregor plans on continuing her partnership with V.O.D. this fall in addition to starting a new collaboration with Zacapa rum.
So where can you find her hanging when temps cool off? New restaurant Lucia is a favorite, and so is Patina Green in McKinney. And her favorite summer buy - a pair of Frye boots with camel leather trim from Neiman Marcus Last Call in Grapevine - will surely be on her feet non-stop.
