Pool Party At The Joule!

Suck in that gut because summertime is here. And with it comes the ubiquitous pool parties first made popular at Fuse a couple years ago. PoolSide at the Joule is a new pool player in town making a splash with locals. Tattooed twiglets in monokinis with juiced boy toys in tow are scene here. Tight bodies disrupt the tranquility only on occasion though. On other days the cocktail lounge and tenth floor pool deck is less like a sunlit after party and more like a chill resort.
The décor reeks of Todd Fiscus and Rob Daily, which is a fabulous thing of course. For those of you brave enough to nosh poolside, menu offerings from Charlie Palmer include smoothies, burgers, brats, sandwiches and snacks.
Sassy mixologist Lucy Brennan (voted top bartender by Playboy, Food & Wine, and Bon Appetit) has designed cocktails for guests. Fruity throat ticklers such as Watermelon Sangria, Tangerine Mojito, Grape Cooler and Cucumber Sage Margarita are more refreshing than tepid beer out of a keg.
So throw on your best designer shades, pack a little bag o’ fun and don’t forget to bring your credit card and fiercest come hither attitude before heading out to PoolSide at The Joule. Now hydrate!
