GENTLE TRAVELERS: It's one of life's little joys when a great band finds you away from your Firefox tabs, maybe on a crisp morning run with NPR's Morning Edition on your headphones. That's how we came to hear of Portland's Blind Pilot, who made the news for carrying their instruments in bike trailers on a two-wheeled tour of the West coast. Hear their rainy folk-pop at the Granada tonight with The Low Anthem. Find tickets here. 7PM.

DANCE REVOLUTION: If you were repulsed by the mere mention of a jog, there are ten funky athletes you can watch from the seats at Nokia tonight: So You Think You Can Dance goes live with the top dancers from Season 5. Simon Fuller and company promise original routines you haven't seen on the tube. Tickets are here. 7:30PM.

SHOCK WAVES: In Oliver Stone's 1988 film Talk Radio, polarizing host Barry Champlain is from Dallas, Texas, and he's murdered by a listener. In the play written by Eric Bogosian on which the film is based, he's from Cleveland and no killing is even suggested. But the subtler play about the not-so-subtle radio personality (inspired by Alan Berg) was nominated for a Pulitzer, and Upstart Productions is staging it at Green Zone. Tonight, admission is pay-what-you-can. 8PM.
