For sale in Jonesboro, Ark., a silver, 2006 Bugatti Veyron -- the fastest and most expensive car in the world -- for only $1.25 million.

For the uninitiated, the Veyron can reach a top speed of 253 miles per hour. It would run out of gas in 12 minutes at that speed, and it would wear out the tires in 15 minutes -- after going only about 50 miles.

On average, the car gets about 8 miles per gallon in the city and 15 on the highway. But, who could really keep that car at a calm, cool 65 mph?!

The car has one previous owner and has only 500 miles on the odometer.

Elite Autos owner Shelby Smith said he already has two prospective buyers, one in Texas and another in Arkansas.

The Bugatti is one of only 200 ever made and one of only about 15 in the United States.  One of the other 15 is owned by American Idol judge Simon Cowell ... talk about exclusive company.
