Poolside Movies Should Cool DFW Through Summer

As the temperature dial and radio dials start to match up in our car, we've been thinking more and more about taking a day to go cool off poolside at any one of DFW's water attractions.
Folks looking for a poolside getaway that is definitely for the over 21 crowd should head up to the Belmont Hotel in Dallas for their final outdoor screening on July 1. They'll be showing the classic spoof "Airplane" for free, but a "movie night package" from the hotel could be your staycation solution.
Families have many more options for "dive-in" films, and, honestly, we'd have a blast at one or two of the films even without the kiddos. All locations of Hawaiian Falls water parks (Mansfield, The Colony, and Garland) will start showing films every Friday from July 3 - August 14. To help cool down folks in the hot Texas sun, Hawaiian Falls plans to dump ice into the wave pool before the screenings -- talk about chilling out!
NRH2O in North Richland Hills has already started with their screenings on June 12, and will continue until August 7.
