Public art is making a comeback in Deep Ellum.
All this week, artists are painting a new mural on the walls along Good Latimer north of Gaston.
The art project aims to replace the old art-filled Deep Ellum Tunnel that was torn down for the new DART rail line.
Other public art projects, including painting in the Deep Ellum Connector and an installation called "The Traveling Man" are being worked on as well.
